Tajikistan, Kirghistan and finally China

For a few days ago it was not possible to update you as we crossed the Pamir region, very beautiful, with several villages where we’ve been completely devoid of electricity, and therefore cut off from any form of digital communication.

We stayed at the Guest Houses, practically home of people offering their homes for a few dollars, offering dinner and breakfast. The services are really minimal, but extremely clean and friendly people.

After the Pamir and his mountain pass at 4600 meters, we switched to Kyrgyzstan, in Sari-Tash, little town lost in the middle of the steppe, at 3200 meters. Here we stayed in a small structure used for as hotel during the summer season. You meet so many cyclists of all European backgrounds, coming across the Pamir. Real heroes, given the effort they are facing at those altitudes. At Sari-Tash we had to spend a day and a half, waiting for the July 27 to enter China.
